A gentle fusion of mindful activities and sound healing to compliment this time in the year where the light is at it's most abundant around the Summer Solstice. A chance to pause, ground and re-connect to life force, leaving you feeling calm, lighter and re-energised.
You will be welcomed to a magical healing space where participants can self-reflect and reconnect with themselves in a beautiful and serene atmosphere, providing the setting and guidance you need to strengthen your body, mind and soul. By attending you are supporting the work of Honeybee Sanctuary, a safe haven for unwanted pets, factory farm survivors & abandoned animals.
We will have the use of a large wooden cabin with kitchen facilities opening out onto a large patio with fire pit and access to peaceful open countryside. We hope to conduct the majority of the day outdoors (weather permitting).
What to expect:
Mindful activities led by Mel: Guided breathing & relaxation. Mindful movement. Visualisation meditation. Affirmations and oracle cards for mindful reflection.
Inner & Outer Beauty pamper time with mindful facial massage & create your own plant-based face mask
Mindful walk in nature with Celtic tree meditation

This is very much an introduction to mindfulness practices and meditation. No previous experience is required. The activities are suitable for all levels of mobility.
We hold our events at Penyffordd WM Institute, within easy reach of surrounding towns and villages, Mold, Buckley, Broughton, Kinnerton, Hope, Wrexham, Saltney and Chester.
Mindfulness & movement is a guided introduction to mindful practices including breathing techniques, grounding, visualisation, mindful movement and meditation. A supportive class where you can switch off, relax and connect with yourself. Learn & practice how mindfulness can help to alleviate the effects of stress and anxiety; improve and regulate emotions; improve sleep; increase energy levels and positive feelings; improve concentration; releases tension in the body; boosts the immune system; experience feelings of calm. The techniques you will learn can be applied in everyday situations, leading to a calmer way of being.
What is a gong bath, a sound meditation, it is a unique experience in which you are bathed in the sound waves and vibrations of gongs and other instruments. All you need to do is make yourself cosy on your mat with your blankets and pillow, secure in the knowledge that you are in a safe, non-judgmental space, giving yourself permission, time and space to switch off and unwind from life’s hectic pace as the gongs take you on a journey of relaxation, de stressing, balancing and rejuvenating your mind, body and soul. Sound healing reminds the body of its optimal vibration.
During the session you may feel the vibrations, see colours, imagery, smell, hear or even feel sensations through your body or as quite commonly happens be completely out of it in a deep sleep. Whatever your experience it is unique to you at that moment in time.
What you will need. You will need to bring a mat or something to lie on and a blanket, pillow, whatever you need to make yourself cosy and warm plus water to drink. Some may not be able to lie on the floor, chairs are provided or bring your own recliner or camping chair to sit on. Again bring pillow, blanket to make your self warm and cosy.
